The company has a specialized directional well and horizontal well team that is made up of technical specialists and field engineers with rich experience. The team has advanced wireless Measuring While Drilling (MWD) tools, a wide range of directional well design and computation software, and accessory tools such as Nonmagnetic Driller Collars (NMDC) that are suitable for various wellbore diameters. The company can perform directional drilling operations in wells with special conditions, such as long radius, medium radius and short radius horizontal wells and high temperature high pressure directional and horizontal wells. It can also provide the necessary services for conventional directional wells, multi-target wells, cluster wells, extended reach wells, horizontal wells, and other types of wells.
The 1500HP and 2000HP drill rigs owned by the company are all power-driven. Over the past few years, the HL-2 and HL-19 drilling crews working in Nigeria, the HL-7, HL-16, HL-15 and HL-17 drilling crews working in Ecuador, and the HL-5 and HL-21 crews in Pakistan have completed a total of 62 directional and horizontal wells and accumulated extremely rich field operations experience.
The HL-2 and HL-19 drilling crews in Nigeria are currently providing well drilling services to Shell (SPDC) and have completed 18 highly deviated wells and horizontal wells of an average well depth of approximately 4,000 meters. Through the utilization of excellent technical skills and advanced drilling equipment, very challenging wells have been completed one after another in an efficient and safe manner. Since the initiation of the Nigeria project in 2011, the performance of these two crews has been recognized and acclaimed by the client, and the crews have won first place and second place respectively in the comprehensive comparative appraisals of the client.
